All Games will take place on November 22, 2025

5A Division I — 11:00 AM

A&M Consolidated (37–9) vs. Highland Park (42–8)

The opening match of championship Saturday features two programs with rich tradition and high-level execution. A&M Consolidated, led by a senior-heavy core, has leaned on ball control and defensive toughness throughout the postseason. Their ability to extend rallies and force opponents into low-efficiency swings has been the backbone of their tournament run.

On the other side, Highland Park returns to the big stage with one of the most balanced offenses in 5A. Their attack is powered by efficient middle play and pin hitters who can terminate in high-pressure points. HP’s depth gives them multiple scoring options, making them dangerous when matches go long.

Personal Pick: Highland Park

5A Division II — 1:00 PM

Cedar Park (38–12) vs. Argyle (38–3)

Cedar Park, one of the most battle-tested teams in Texas, enters with momentum after coming up short last year. The Timberwolves bring a physical front row and a serving game that can quickly disrupt opposing offenses. Their height gives them match-up advantages, particularly at the pins.

But they face one of the state’s winningest teams: Argyle (38–3). Argyle has dominated all season with a disciplined, methodical approach. Their offense is patient but explosive, and their back-row consistency allows them to run system even under heavy pressure. With only three losses all year, Argyle plays like a team expecting to win—not hoping to.

Personal Pick: Cedar Park

6A Division I — 4:00 PM

Pearland Dawson (42–4) vs. Bryan Nelson (41–0)

This may be the most anticipated match of the entire slate. Pearland Dawson enters at 42–4 and has proven they can beat elite competition. Dawson plays with power and pace, built around terminators on the pins and a setter who thrives in fast-tempo systems. Their semifinal win showcased how dangerous their offense looks when they pass in system.

Meanwhile, last year's national champions Bryan Nelson (41–0) is undefeated with arguably the best statistical profile in Texas this year. Their blocking is elite, their transition scoring is efficient, and their ability to win long rallies has broken opponents all season. Nelson’s perfect record isn’t a coincidence they control matches defensively and refuse to give away points, sweeping the entire competition to get to this stage.

Personal Pick: Bryan Nelson

6A Division II — 6:00 PM

Austin High (41–6) vs. Southlake Carroll (34–5)

The night closes with another powerhouse matchup. Austin High, at 41–6, has been one of the most complete teams in Texas. Their defense is exceptional, their setter runs a varied offense, and their hitters adapt well to different block schemes. Austin’s biggest edge is their composure—this group doesn’t panic in tight sets.

Southlake Carroll, however, brings one of the best blocking units in 6A. Carroll’s ability to take away cross-court shots and force hitters into uncomfortable angles is a major reason they’ve held opponents to low hitting percentages. Their offense features a pair of dominant attackers capable of taking over late in sets, which has also helped them sweep the competition on their road to the state title.

Personal Pick: Austin High
