When/Where Friday November 14, 7PM at Highland Park

Highland Park Scots will play the Lake Belton Broncos. The Scots come into the matchup averaging 31 points or more after their regular season win over Midlothian 42-28. The offense has Harrison Cullum and Cannon Bozman. Both key players who can make the passing game easier for the Scots.

Their defense is even stronger with players Dean Dullin and Jack Swaldi getting two picks from the Midlothian offense.

Lake Belton finished the year blanking off Killeen Chaparral 53-20. Their offense can also score high, with over 25 points on average this season. They have a strong offense of halfback, Arrington Alexander and Davion Peters the receiver, dual QB. Their defense is perhaps even better with Bryson Coleman, who sacked the Chaparral QB three times and Jonathan Russell, who averages 5 sacks per game. Along with Gavin Owens who has 20 total tackles for the year, the LB defense proves to be strong and healthy.

Highland Park has averaged 317 passing yards a game with Lake Belton averaging 174 rushing yards. Which is why my personal pick for this Friday's Bi District First Round playoff matchup is the Highland Park Scots, 42-28.
